Meadowlark Bakery & Cafe

I’ve been here twice now and both times were absolutely excellent. I couldn’t believe I never saw it on maps before!! They have such a great selection of food and the quality is incredible. The portions are big too. Yesterday I had the pleasure of meeting Debbi, one of the owners, and she was so personable. She even gave my boyfriend a little treat since it was his birthday! The ambience is quaint and homey, the outdoor courtyard is beautiful for eating this time of year & I love the little gems in their shop too. Can’t wait to go back and try their milkshakes!

Love their iced chais! Their pastries are also amazing. They always have a wide variety and change the options daily. Everything I’ve had has been amazing- croissants, cookies, various cakes. Staff is so friendly as well. Highly recommend!

Hands down, this place exceeded my expectations. The food was perfectly cooked and seasoned. My Danish was absolutely delicious, even after sitting out for a little bit (that's how you know the baked goods are of great quality). Everything I've gotten so far has been top-tier and fills me up quite quickly. They even have a reward system! ( they also took the time to write out my name in this cute fashion ) I would definitely recommend coming here; I know I'll be returning :)

Gem of a place. Top notch bakery and cafe located in historic farm house. Tiny little place but with surprisingly varied menu - from breakfast sandwiches, to baked goods, tacos, ice cream, and shakes. And of course, coffee - which was excellent. We loved the breakfast sandwich with sausage and the avocado toast. The food was really good. We ended up going back again to get different items later - try the turnover pastry. Everything was fresh and delicious. Staff was super friendly. Very limited seating inside but good options outside. Perfect for breakfast or lunch sandwich on a nice day. Highly recommend. Great spot.

Thank you Meadowlark for an amazing dining experience Everyone in our party enjoyed their food so much. My husband could not stop talking about the pork belly sandwich and he’s never even had a pork belly before but said it was one of the best sandwiches he’s ever had. Everything was delicious. The service was amazing and Debbie was as charming as they come. Highly recommend this place. We also took home some pastries and they were out of this world will definitely be coming back soon. I almost forgot everyone should take home a sourdough bread. It’s delicious and gigantic as shown in the picture. Lol

I travel a lot for work throughout the northeast and stopped in a quaint town just outside of this cafe, noticed the vibes and knew it was a place for me. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. The space is cozy, like a cabin in the woods. The outdoor seating area is relaxing and plenty of seating. I ordered an iced pumpkin bread latte and it was absolutely delicious, and I order a LOT of coffee out on the road, so take my word for it. I also ordered the breakfast sandwich with sausage, fried eggs on sourdough. Also, very delicious. Good ratio of bread to protein. I will 100% come back here again.

I recently visited this bakery and tried a few items. I ordered a chocolate Dubai cupcake that unfortunately didn’t live up to expectations. The frosting was stiff and hard, and the cupcake itself wasn’t very moist. After reaching out, the bakery was apologetic about my experience, explained that it was likely due to refrigeration rotation, and offered to make it right. I appreciated their honest response and their offer to make it up to me the next time I visited. On the other hand, I also tried their cheesecake topped with fresh strawberries and blueberries, and it was absolutely amazing! Smooth, velvety, well-formed, and rich in flavor. Overall, this bakery has excellent products and great customer service, and I’ll definitely be giving them another try.

Coffee is top tier! Recently tried the coconut mocha Americano and it was delish!! (They have decaf too) Space is very country cute. Shop is small but there is courtyard seating. Food has been good but kitchen can get very slow on busy days so don’t expect in & out takeout. Staff is kind. Definitely recommend :)
